The program objective is to build an industry-competent young workforce by empowering them to connect with the industry avoiding the spoon-feed mechanism /path. Participants shall be supported through skilling sessions, mentoring sessions, query-resolving sessions, and recommendation letter by the industry chamber. Industry expects competent candidates to be equipped with knowledge, skill, experience, and attitude to work in an industry environment(Productive from day 1).
Also, it is a fact that skill, experience, and attitude can be built only through self-initiatives and actions. It is the responsibility of individual participants, to take action and prove on the field to qualify for next support from industry associations, leading them to find the best matching career opportunities and jobs.

1.What is the purpose of the YCMOU Industry Connect Internship Program at INNOeVERSITY?
The purpose of the Industry Connect Internship Program is to build an industry-ready young workforce who can be employed on the run. It connects the young workforce with real industries to solve industry’s real problems, bypassing the traditional spoon-feeding approach. The program supports the young workforce by conducting mentoring sessions, query-resolving sessions, and skilling sessions.
2.What is Industry Connect/What does Industry Connect mean?
Industry Connect means engaging with industries through the INNOeVERSITY portal. To do this, you must register the industry and capture their problem statements.
3.What am I supposed to do in an internship?
In an internship, you’ll likely connect with the industry and identify problem statements.
4.How can I get mentoring support?
In our course, you can access mentoring support through the discussion feature. Simply post your queries there, and your mentor will provide answers and guidance to assist you.
5.Can the trainers help me in setting my goals and connecting me to industry?
Yes, our mentors & team are always there to support you in linking & connecting with industry. We train participants to effectively initiate communication with industry through an audio pitch. We also provide required documents & an email from YCMOU that helps them establish an industry connection.
6.Will the trainers/mentors allocate industry to me?
Trainers/mentors will not allocate any industry to you. They will guide you, extending all required support to link & connect with industry. We train participants to effectively initiate communication with industry through an audio pitch.

8.What is a Personality Radar Chart, and why is it mentioned in the instructions?
A Personality Radar Chart is a visual representation of personality traits or characteristics based on assessment results. It may be part of the assignment or an additional feature provided to participants upon completion of certain activities.
9.What is the criteria to get certification for this program?
Participants must complete & submit all the assignments on time. Participants must link & connect with at least one industry.
10.Will I get a Job after completing this program?
We are not a placement agency. However, during the program, you become aware of your personality and passion. The radar mapping, along with these insights, helps you decide your career path. Enhanced employability skills improve your chances of getting a job.
11.What will be the mode of conduction for the study? Will it be online or offline?
It is a hybrid mode: online guided mentoring followed by offline assignments.
