Student Internship / OJT to Career Road Map 
(Real Industry / Society Problem Capturing & Solving)

INNOeVERSITY’s 10-Step Internship to Career Journey guides students from classroom learning to real job opportunities. It begins by helping you understand your strengths, skills, and personality. You then explore how industries work and, through Industry Connect, receive a recommendation letter to visit companies, interact with professionals, and identify real challenges. With mentor support, you work on solving these problems. Your progress is tracked to build experience and confidence. As you grow, your profile becomes visible to companies actively seeking interns, apprentices, or new hires—so instead of you chasing jobs, your work helps jobs find you!

INNOeVERSITY follows a unique experiential learning approach where students first capture real problems from industry or society, then proceed through validation, pre-solution, and final solution proposal stages. This process builds critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity by engaging students in authentic, hands-on experiences. As students iterate on solutions, they gain practical skills, exposure to industry expectations, and confidence to solve real-world challenges. This pathway ensures students are not just job-ready, but problem-solving professionals. This model aligns with INNOeVERSITY’s 10-Step “Internship to Career” roadmap, where each phase is supported by credit-based courses, preparing students for apprenticeships and sustainable careers.

  • There are two ways, students can participate in career building / employability  skill building courses or programs by INNOeVERSITY.

    1. Bulk enrolment of students by Institute:

    Either as a part of MOU through state university, or independant MOU with the institute, institute can upload list of their students, for bulk enrolment. 

    2. Independant student enrolment:

    expresses interest to participate in industry problem-solving, and kickstart the process of career-focused experiential learning.

  • Independant Students can buy subscription / pay for the program. If istitute has paid for the student, they will be part of the program through bulk enrolment by the institute. Student can access the schedule calender of the respective program on the link used for submitting the expresion of interest in step 1.

  • Students log in, access INNOeVERSITY workspace from their member pages (Student / Graduate & Start-Up Role), define their academic and career goals, and update their personal and educational profiles. This helps INNOeVERSITY understand each student’s aspirations, interests, and strengths, allowing the platform to recommend a customized career roadmap aligned with their chosen domain, improving focus, engagement, and goal-oriented learning outcomes.

  • The institute submits their EOI, for signing MOU, Get special discounted price for bulk enrolment of their students, compiles a list of students (Each student’s email ID and institute name are verified for correct enrolment) and submits on the link below:

    • If University have done the blanket MOU for specific program and courses, on behalf of all affiliated institutes of that university automatically gets the benefits. For e.g Solapur University, Dr. Homi Bhabha State University, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open university, Gujarat Technological University. 

    • INNOeVERSITY  is open to have separate MOU's with the autonomus institutes to have additional and deeper programs through domain specific industry partners for building USP for the Institute, enabling them to fully utilise the autonomy.

    • Students gain access to the Industry Induction and Awareness (IIA), Skill Aptitude and Swot Analysis (SASA) qualification "Radar Chart" test to evaluate their knowledge, aptitude, and skills.

    • The test score determines initial student rankings, providing insights into their readiness for "Industry Connect Activity". 

    • Students with satisfactory performance reflected in their "Radar Chart" only will qualify for receiving "Recommondation Letter for "Industry Connect", visit industry as per convinience, capturing industry and society problem, needs, wants and challenges, gaining real insite of industry expectation.

    • Student can spend more time (Max upto six months or till the subscription is valid), attent our weekly guided mentoring sessions, reappear the "Radar Chart" proove competency, qualify for next phase-II for  Industry Connect.
       

    • Students' Phase-I personality radar charts and performance reports get automatically updated in their INNOeVERSITY workspace profile.

    • Industry recruiters can directly access student progress and skill development metrics.

    • Note: This step is applicable only for the universities with whom INNOeVERSITY have done special MOU to entertain specific number of students in complementry mode.

    • As per the MOU with university, (subject to availibility of list of affiliated institutes bonafied students from the institute coordinators), agreed number of qualified best performers gets their fees refunded.

    • Students also can utilise this towards discount / reduction in the fees for next phase-II if they wish to continue the journey, to qualify for 9000/- apprenticeship. 

Phase - I  Foundation
(2 to 8 Credits Sem I / II/III)

In this foundation phase, students get introduced to the industry-oriented ecosystem, awareness about various industry sectors (Products, Services, Processes, Chaleenges, opportunities, Raw materials, Operations, Technology Aspects etc.), identify their strengths and weaknesses (via SWOT), and establish clear career goals and aspirations.

  • As per your selected industry domain and job role, attend expert guided mentoring, and craft a job profile that reflects initial industry readiness. Receive a recommendation letter to visit industries as a “fresher with experience.”

    • Gain skills to professionally approach industry, social, or government bodies. Practise methods to identify and frame problems, understand stakeholder needs, and fine-tune your engagement style under expert guidance.

    • Engage directly with industry professionals, either in-person or virtually, to experience real business environments. Identify authentic challenges and insights that will drive your solution-building process.

    • Every Saturday, industry experts conduct specialized job role training at three locations (Solapur, Pandharpur, Barshi) based on enrollment numbers.

    • Online + offline hybrid model ensures continuous student engagement.

    • Students complete weekly assignments, tasks, and performance evaluations.

    • Weekly performance is downloadable for personal review and institute tracking.

    • Students' Phase-II personality radar charts and performance reports get automatically updated in their INNOeVERSITY workspace profile.

    • Industry recruiters can directly access student progress and skill development metrics.

Phase - II  Build Profile, Capture Problem & Solution Proposal-I
(4 to 12 Credits Sem II/III/IV)

In this phase, students align with a chosen job role, build an industry-ready profile through completing exercises and responsibilities as if they are working in that job role, and receive a recommendation to interact with industries. Through guided mentoring, they learn to identify real-world problems, visit industries, and capture practical challenges—laying the groundwork for building innovative solution proposals.

    • Refine solution or assigned task through mentor feedback, solve / participate in overcoming  authentic industry challenges, demonstrate proof of competancy, and iterate continuously to build real, implementable outcomes aligned with industry expectations.

    • Participate in sector-specific training or skilling defined / initiated by industries from specific industry domain and soft-skill development sessions to enhance your employability index, tailored to your job role of your interest and industry segment.

    • For eligible students with NATS registration and completion of degree, unlock paid apprenticeship opportunities under BOAT via INNOeVERSITY’s network.

    • If students are enrolled in approved AEDP programs, then they can qualify for this opportunity during the final semester(s).

    • Students will be provided continued access to skill enhancement programs, industry mentorship, and professional networking opportunities.

    • A dedicated alumni network will help students stay connected with industry leaders, opening doors for higher education, advanced certifications, and career advancements.

Phase - III Industry Immersion
(10 to 44 Credits Sem IV/V/VI)

Students engage in real problem-solving by selecting domain-aligned challenges. They iteratively improve solutions with expert feedback, build domain-specific and soft skills, and enhance employability. Those enrolled in AEDP or completing degrees with valid NATS IDs can unlock paid apprenticeship opportunities through INNOeVERSITY’s BOAT-integrated industry network.

INNOeVERSITY helps students convert their apprenticeship and internship experiences into consulting opportunities, entrepreneurial ventures, or full-time placements by continuously tracking growth, aligning with industry expectations, and facilitating visibility to top hiring partners.
